The Gerstein Lab |
About me |
I am a postdoctoral associate in Mark Gerstein’s lab here at Yale University in the Department of Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry. It is a terrific time to be in systems biology and bioinformatics, just about every few years there appears to be a new revolution. By straddling the interface of biochemistry, genetics, mathematics and computer science we can make use of powerful tools to answer exciting biological questions and discover new mechanisms. My main research interests lie in the areas of protein network and pathway analysis, mechanisms of molecular evolution and human genetic variation.
Update: I am starting my own laboratory at the University of Toronto in January 2009. I will be located in the Donnelly Center for Cellular and Biomolecular Research (CCBR), which will be a fantastic, collaborative environment. I am looking for talented, motivated people to join my lab as postdocs or students. Check out my new lab website: www.kimlab.org
